Our beautiful red-wood house, with its zinc roof, was born out of a “coup de cœur” for the neighbourhood of Cachan, unique, placed against the highest hills in the south-east of Paris. The view from there is magnificent, with the Eiffel Towel in the distance and the Bièvre Valley at its feet. But above all, this little sloped neighbourhood has conserved the character of its origins, half-rural and half-artisan, with plenty of gardens and gardenettes linked by little paths and walkways. The atmosphere and the calm just two steps from the agitation of the capital are remarkable. From the inside, the large house offers a number of common spaces for all (including a kitchen), which allows one to forget they are in a small hotel. The bedrooms are discrete, functional, and all different. As for the Penthouse, it is a large studio, obviously with its own kitchen, but above all with its huge terrace with panoramic view.
The Maison Du Coteau is located in Cachan, south of Paris. It is 10 km from central Paris and a 15-minute drive from Orly Airport. It offers 3-star accommodation with free Wi-Fi.
Guest rooms at the Coteau have access to a communals kitchen equipped with a microwave and tea or coffee maker. Some rooms have a view of the Bievre Valley and the Eiffel Tower.
Guests have access to the Maison Du Couteau’s library, garden and terrace.
Direct bus links to the Gustave Roussy Institute, Porte d'Italie district and Arcueil Exam Centre are possible from just outside the B&B.
The Coteau provides free private parking and it is situated next to the A6 motorway. The Arcueil-Cachan RER station is 1.5 km away, and provides direct access to central Paris.
